Friday 27 January 2012: Stumped!
They've been clearing some of the undergrowth from the edges of the lakes and rhynes at the RSPB reserve, improving the view of the water. However, apart from a couple of swans, any birdlife had taken the sensible step of disappearing into the middle of the reedbeds, so might have been stumped for an entry today but for this.
Spent the afternoon sorting out clothes in preparation for next week's trip; only 5 days to go!
