Clash of colors - Bellavista

Today we hit the pavement early doing our own walking tour through the Centro, Bellas Artes and Bellavista districts.

First stop was the Mercado Central where the smorgasboard of seafood on offer was incredible. It was only 9am so we passed up the offer of having lobster for breakfast and continued through the many pedestrianised streets and plazas of Centro.

Second up was a trip to the Cultural Centre and an exhibition on a Chilean artist called Matta. His style of surreal art was impressive and certainly made Dali's work feel very tame.

Third on the list was a trip up to the top of Cerro St Lucia hill in the centre of town. On a clear day the Andes would be visible and photogenic but alas we enjoyed the city skyline on a sunny but smoggy day.

Final trip after a gelati was back through the streets of Bohemian Bellavista. So many fantastic street murals to photograph but not wanting to do an "exact" repeat of yesterday's Blip I went for a different take and enjoyed this clash of colors.
