Saturday 28 January 2012: dragon fruit and bush tucker
In Changi Airport for a quick stopover and there it was..the twilight zone!
Australian Open tennis on one telly and Rugby on the other, Aussies camped on sofas in thongs (as in on the feet) and boardies, Aussie wines in the coolers and a pile of local newspapers.
Down below in the transit area it is all go with designer labels and duty free in a curious mix of local dried meats and exotic orchids. Avoid the temptation and yet more hand luggage.
Last haul awaits, 5 hours to Perth.
