Sunday 29 January 2012: bush walk
Sunday afternoon and the lads and I head to our local park..which was a golf course at one time..set in local bush with eucalypt and zanthorrea, parrots, kookaburras and the occasional kangaroo at sunup .Off to a small granite boulder which we visit frequently and the land underfoot is dry, crisp and ball bearing rich with fallen gumnuts.
I bought junior a walkie talkie watch set (hence the fingers in his ears) which could become the bane of my life as we take it on walks now and regardless as to wether he is 1m or 100m away there is a constant babble.
The canine lad has apparently vacated his veranda seat which he occupied daily looking down our drive for my return and has a permanent grin plastered on his Staffy face.
Phew, what a reality check...alrightythen!
