Cold!

This is one cold sunrise over the pont du Garigliano this morning! I'd say it is as cold as Canada, except that it is actually warmer in southern Ontario today than it was here!

Ch had a half-day of school so we spent the afternoon at les soldes (very educational, I know). Les soldes are the wonderful sales that happen here twice a year. We got some creams and bath products from our favourite Brazilian store (Natura, on place Michel Debré) and some scarves and hats at Galeries Lafayette in the Centre Montparnasse. Ch tried on lots of coats but we didn't have any luck on that front. Too bad as there were good deals to be had. We may try again on Saturday with Th as she has some things on her list too.

I'm going to go snuggle under layers of blankets now. This poor apartment isn't insulated against temperatures below zero. Ça caille!
