Introducing The Boys

It was only a matter of time really...

On the left is Charlie. Now almost four years old I found him as a seven day old kitten abandoned in the middle of the road. Hand reared on rubber teat I fed and toileted him every four hours for weeks. With no mother to keep him at the right temperature he had to sleep on a covered hot water bottle. He dislikes almost all other humans apart from Marie and I, he's not too keen on other cats either, he must have a spotless litter tray or he goes off on some sort of psychotic anger trip and he is not into cuddling much. He likes dried cat-food, catching crickets, and of course, sleeping on hot water bottles.

On the right is the appropriately named Chancer. Age unknown, he just turned up two years ago soon after our 18-year-old cat Suki died. Synchronicity? We would feed him breakfast and then he would bugger off for the rest of the day. After a while he decided he liked our home comforts, our lifestyle and our supply of fluffy blankets. He even tolerates the socio-path he's pictured next to. He likes cuddles and plenty of them, licking my ever decreasing hairline, using an Ipad (true) and lying in the sun. He dislikes dried cat-food, being in a hurry and the fact that he doesn't own his own Ipad.

The image above is a bit of a rarity since normally, if they get within touchy-feely distance of each other, one of them will have a swipe.
