It was a new word to me when I came to Scotland - but this is a rather grand entrance to a close in Sauchiehall Street. It's not very grand at all now, but I see they still have some nice tiles in there as well.

Knackered today. Nursery phoned at 2pm to say Alexander was ill, so I had a Planes, Trains and Automobiles type trip to get him. When I finally got there he looked considerably better than I felt. Also I missed most of a very interesting sounding workshop at work, so I'm generally put out. Off for a lie down.
