Tuesday 7 February 2012: Shadow Walking

After today's visit to neuro-specialist I feel as though I am walking in the shadows...

After several reflex tests, and a zillion questions it has been decided that I warrant another MRI scan because I have no gag reflex!!!!

Apparently this is indicative of some impediment or damage to my brain stem!!! WOW!!! but it does explain a lot and there is a delighted sense of relief that I am not imagining the symptoms.

Will not bore you all with the nitty gritty details but this has been a health issue for some thirty years and in some ways is the bain of my life but also is part of what makes me what and who I am today. Whilst I still have my sense of humour and the ability to communicate I am blessed.
