Sunday 12 February 2012: Two Down - One To Go

Two weeks into this years Six Nations, and two wins. In two weeks time we are up for the Triple Crown at Twickenham.

A boring fact about The Triple Crown, until recently it was a competition without a prize, there was no cup awarded for it. It's still a hell of an accolade, made even more special by the fact if Wales win at Twickenham, two of the wins would have been away from home.

But let's not get ahead of ourselves. Wales did enough right to show they will be a very realistic threat to England, but there was enough facets of Welsh play that went awry today that would have England areas to attack. It will be a fascinating contest, Wales will be slight favourites, but against the old enemy, that will probably not count for much!

With the farcical scenes at Paris last night, in all likelihood France will have to play four games on the bounce, with just a five day turn around for one of them.

All this proves why the Six Nations is still the rugby competition in the world.
