Monday 13 February 2012: Moorish Monday

Whilst out at lunchtime I was photographing trees, bicycles and railings for today's blip, but then I saw this building.

This is the top part of a converted warehouse, now offices, built in the 19th century as a replication of a Moorish Palace, complete with turrets and Islamic-style ornate design, in the centre of Leeds.

Whilst it is a colourful building I preferred it in the b&w version which stood out for me.

I'm still amazed at the community that is blip and especially those of you who look in on my journal and leave supportive words. Thank you :)
