WINCHER'S STANCE

Buchanan Bus Station, Glasgow

When I first arrived in Glasgow I used to travel around this beautiful country that is Scotland by bus and I passed by this statue so many times and each time made me smile.

Sculpted by John Clinch, was unveiled in 1995. The name, Wincher's Stance, was selected after a competition in the Evening Times.
