Sunday 19 February 2012: Fire and Water
Softly the evening came. The sun from the western horizon
Like a magician extended his golden wand o'er the landscape;
Twinkling vapors arose; and sky and water and forest
Seemed all on fire at the touch, and melted and mingled together.
-Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
This was a sunset that made you so very very glad to be alive, one of those evenings where you feel very at one with the elemenst
Driving home from a day at the gym in Leeds ( swimming, gyming, saunaing,steam rooming, chocolate eating and looking for eye candy instructors to help me with the cross trainer)
As I drove ,the sunset became more and more vivid, fiery, and dramatic. I was unable to get the exact shot I wanted as there was nowhere to pull over ( it really is about time someone designed cameras for the bonnets of cars that you operate with the steering wheel ),but did a quick turn off at the canal in Rodley and saw this.. nature is amazing.
More Sun
Happy Sunday you all
