Well, flash bang wallop indeed. Since I got my Sony a55 I have not been able to get the RAW(ARW) files to open in Photoshop. Today I sorted that out ....and it was simple (of course). I have also finally managed to get Photoshop in English as I have been working in Danish for the last 4-5 months since I got my iMac (which has been less than ideal). I have also read an article on processing RAW files which has convinced me it is the way to go. I mean what's the point of having 16mb potential and only getting a JPEG of 5mb? Having had a play with the processing on this RAW file I would say it holds up much better than a JPEG would have.
