... Rest In Peace...

Today started out with very sad news. One of the seven US Marines killed this past week in California in training maneuvers was a beloved friend of our nephew, Brian, an Army Captain currently deployed in Afghanistan. Brian went to West Point Military Academy and one year, Michael Quin was his roommate, on an exchange program between the Army and Navy/Marine Academies. They became the very best of friends. When Brian got married this past summer, Michael was in the wedding so we met him then. He seemed a warm, funny, brave guy and we knew that Brian loved him like a brother. He was 28 years old and just got engaged last month. So, today I am feeling sad for a life that was cut short way too soon. And I grieve for his family and those who loved him.
