Thursday 1 March 2012: Happy St David's Day

A much brighter and more cheerful day - this is the view as I arrived at work - I just couldn't resist all those bobbing daffs against the cheery blue school.

Finished work at lunchtime and collected Hector - he is now mended, something highly technical was the matter- his oxygen sensor had conked out! Yes, Malc, your warning about spark plugs was probably true!! It also sounds as though this will be highly expensive - Jim is making out the bill. The nice think about Jim is, he's very unfussed about when you pay it.

What a glorious day though - the sun made a dramatic appearance after a week and a half of gloom. I declinkered the conservatory, washed down the floors, put clean covers on the cushions and generally de-cated.

The wwoof newsletter is nearly done too, joy and bliss. Off to watch The Tempest with Helen Mirren as Prospero. No work till tuesday, I feel a g&t coming on.
