Friday 2 March 2012: More squirrel
Bit of a rough day today & I've barely made it out of bed, let alone thought much about photography; so apologies for another squirrel - in fact, quite possibly the same squirrel: at least the sun was shining on him in a vaguely appealing way. Apologies also for not having responded to yesterday's messages.
Two things worth mentioning about this pic:
1. That purple flower is a dwarf iris: a LOT of dwarf iris bulbs were planted in that bed last autumn, but 'someone' (or something) appears to have dug most of them up
2. I've only just noticed that hole just in front of the tree: either the squirrel has been trying to dig it up, or - more likely - we have a mouse in residence.
