Tuesday 6 March 2012: Happy Hezday
Hardly feels like six thousand five hundred and seventy four days, but that's what it's been. Our little princess is no more and the household gained one more official adult (that'll be three on good days, two on better days).
Birthdays seem to go on a lot longer now than back in my day. The house has been decorated like it's Christmas even though the birthday girl has been out most of the day - two hour driving lesson then out to some eighties themed get-together dressed in luminous pink lycra - and the celebration seems like it's going on 'til at least Saturday when mum is taking daughter out for her traditional first legal cocktails in a pub. Could get messy by then.
