Saturday 10 March 2012: Holding on
I love the way this tree is just holding on to the earth and continuing to grow despite such a tenuous grip. I also love the smooth curve made by its trunk and the mess of twigs and branches.
I think that I shall never see
A billboard lovely as a tree.
Perhaps, unless the billboards fall,
I'll never see a tree at all.
