The Little Hen That Could

I picked up our egg consignment from the Egg People on my way home from a meeting in town today. The eggs were so big that the carton wouldn't close completely.

The egg on the right weighed 58 gm, and would be classified as large. The other one weighed 98 gm, and there was another egg just as big. Marv said the average weight was 75 gm. There must have been a lot of extra-loud clucking at Red Barn Lavender recently.
