Tenuous link I know but, hey, it's blipland and the Alpha Ponty A-Z Challenge Week 7.

So ...... up at 06.45, still in my pj's, look out of the window - blah, ANOTHER grey, gloomy, foggy, damp day!
What to blip?? What to blip??
Aha, DAFFODILS!
No, not again!!!!!
Sooooooo .... make it different.
Outside, front garden with scissors in hand, hoping the neighbours don't see me (still in pj's) !!!

Smoke and mirrors????

Tried the smoke - total disaster! (will have to learn how to do that somehow/someday)
Tried the mirror - hmmmmm? That could work.

Mirror, camera, tripod, black fabric, chairs to lean things against ...... too much light! Weird reflections! Close the curtains - better!

Various camera settings, trial and error with a torch to see what I'm doing - now we're getting somewhere.

Shadow, go away - I know I'm crawling on the floor and you want to play but I do NOT want a picture of your big swishy tail or your wet nose on my lens, neither do I want a shot of your ear in close-up or your sad eyes because you feel neglected.

Two hours later .... hey presto - my "reflection" shot!!!!
