Sunday 18 March 2012: Printing

I spent the best part of three hours the other day printing out one mother's day card for C's mum.
It involved numerous restarts, ink changes, network diagnostics, encounters with weird program errors (why does the printer settings... button no longer do anything in photoshop?) before finally outputting from lightroom as a pdf, transferring it to another computer over the flakey network, finding a program on the other computer that had a print dialogue for pdfs...aaaargh!
And that was before trying to find some decent quality paper among the cupboard-full of end-of-packs and unknown-specification pack-less ones I found.

I got them all out and sorted them into groups so now I have a fan of different-make, different-quality, different-white papers on the kitchen table.

Now what?

Oh yes, put them back in the cupboard..
