Cafe culture

Before my departure for France, I thought it might be an idea to compare the cafe culture of the UK and France. It was 15 degrees today and a few souls decided to sit outside. The ambiance is not great but at least we are showing a willingness to move a little further away from the tea and cakes. I despair, however, at the coffee I order in the UK from places like Starbucks that add prodigious quantities of water, milk or froth to a single shot of coffee. I look forward to my first decent coffee and croissant across the Channel.
