A bit of color on what was an entirely gray day. Which is strange, too, because the sun was out for almost all of it and it shone through our windows. To our floor, our couch. Just an odd collection of hours, feeling under the weather, then not, then once more again. And the winds! Heels together, no-place-like-home style. Whisked away, over the concrete angularities, like a sparrow spearing a zephyr. The kind of day when all you want to do is eat a bowl of clam chowder in the bathtub, only to find out the water has been shut off.
