Sunday 25 March 2012: What are you looking at

We have been out and about on the bikes at Grafham water with my friend Linda and her daughter Molly.

We meet up with a friend of Lindas who was staying on a caravan site near the resevoir, to have a cup of tea and some lunch before setting off for the 11 mile round trip.

It has been a lovely day, not quite as warm as yesterday.

When we got back to the caravan site, Monkey decided he still wanted to carry on riding his bike, i ended up cycling round the site a few times with him, before he wanted to play on the swings.
I noticed a group looking up at some trees and taking photo's, when i asked what they were looking at they said there is a Great Horned owl up there, this bird was huge. It has lived at this caravan site for the past 14 years, more information can be seen here.

Monkey went off to get my friend Linda to come and have a look, she was tapping on the tree to get its attention when it looked down.

Back home my neighbour Mr H helped me get the bike rack off the car, am a bit sore, so am off to have a hot bath.
