Heatwave

Drove back from Yorkshire this afternoon to find Edinburgh in a heatwave, everyone was out in shorts and sandals, sipping beer in the streets, and picnicking in the parks.

I set off at lunch time hoping to get to one of the forts on Hadrian's Wall, in time for a look round on my way home, but they shut at 4pm!
