Friday 30 March 2012: Laivonsaari

I had skied almost 4 hours when I arrived to the fireplace of Laivonsaari. I made a fire and warmed up some fish and broccoli and drank a can of Elowehnä (Finnish microbrewery's hefeweizen). At that point I was completely exhausted and very thirsty although I had some water and (self-made) chocolate to nourish me before reaching the fireplace.

I also chopped some logs for the fireplace to replace those I used up to make fire. As you can see the logs were quite large:) The size of the logs somehow inspired me and I chopped a lot more logs than I used. So now there's a descent pile for the next user of the fireplace.
