Friday 30 March 2012: Merkinch Nature Reserve
School's out for Easter! After the children left I tidied my desk and got out fast! The sun was shining so I went for a walk to a local nature reserve that I had been reading about in the Merkinch area of the city. I was very surprised by the walkways and wooden broadwalk across the tidal Muirtown pools. And all within a quick walking distance from the city centre!
It was a great anecdote to the hard work of the last term and now it is time to relax and play a little.
