Saturday at the market place

Abingdon market is on a Monday but this morning there was an "Excellence market". Something for everyone: merry-go-rounds, jam, cakes, Peruvian singers, local vegetables, a plane to sit in, and more. Pity the weather's got so cold but there were a fair few people about.

The magnificent Grade I listed building in the background (see also my blip of Jan 26)is the old county hall, now Abingdon Museum, built in 1684.
