Saturday 31 March 2012: Doddick Fell, Blencathra

An excellent outing on Blencathra - Up Hall's Fell ridge, to descend Doddick Fell ridge. Utterly satisfying, topping out the ridge directly on the summit of Blencathra, after a ridge which is nowhere hard, but always interesting. Unfortunately the light only 'played' once we were in descent. And as a bonus, a short day for my aching legs which I battered a bit running in the hills yesterday.
