Saturday 31 March 2012: Romance Is In The Air
I'd had an email from the people staying in our lodge next week. It turns out that the person booking it is getting married up here next week. Her family will use the lodge until the wedding and then after they leave the bride and groom will stay in it.
I felt a little extra treat was in order so I bought them a bunch of white roses for the dining table and a smaller bunch for the bedroom. Nice white roses and lisianthus from the florist that will be sure to last all week.
The plant I blipped yesterday turned out to be a Prunus, related to the flowering cherry, but a small round bush only about 24 inches diameter and height with miniature single flowers.
