Monday 2 April 2012: Portchester Castle
First day back at work. Holiday has a lot to recommend it!
Stopped off at Port Solent, looking across to Portchester Castle on the way home. The little camera couldn't keep up with the contrast so I thought I'd try a HDR. I normally try and make HDR look as photo-realistic as possible, but for a change I thought I'd go in completely the opposite direction and go for something a little surreal looking.
It's certainly surreal, and looking at it some part of me likes it, but another keeps screaming 'that's too much'. Not a style I'll do very often, but fun to try.
