Project 365

Tonight was the opening of my solo show at our downtown library. I had 30 pieces, images and text all taken from my blog entries. These triptychs are printed on 22x17 velvet paper; it's hard to see the text in this illustration, but it's handwritten directly on the print--a harrowing experience every time, believe me. But the feel of the thick pencil moving across that delicious paper is worth it. One of the librarians counted 123 people and 4 dogs in attendance.
