Tuesday 3 April 2012: Botanical Gardens
We awoke very early---bed springs working their magic so no alarms was necessary! This was terrible great because we were able to go to the desert botanical gardens when their gates opened and hardly anyone was there. We saw lots of hummingbirds, birds nesting in cacti, cacti flowers....it was magnificent. It was second to our accomodations watching the games as far as what we both enjoyed on the trip.
Here is one of the little nesting birds in the saguaro cactus.
The ball game was another winner and afterwards we took in the sunset on top of South Mt. Park. Another lovely day.
