Management Meeting

On a momentous day for Malawi, when the Government finally announced the death of the former President's death and the handover of power to the vice president Joyce Banda, work for us still had to go on!!
After an early meeting on the farm for me, I then met with Mary, Harisen and Casc. Harisen is our Country Director and in charge of the factory while Casca is head of preschools and accounts.
The meeting lasted almost 3 hours as they were reporting on three month's work. Even though Malawi moves slowly, it amazed us what had been achieved since we were here last, considering the lack of forex, fuel, and plastic pipe for the factory and pumps.
