Sunday 8 April 2012: Tapenade

I discovered only recently that this name comes from the Occitan word for 'caper' - tapera. While I often add capers when I make it, as I have done today, as well as anchovies and garlic, the main ingredient is, of course, olives - olivas in Occitan.

Friends coming for tapas tonight and a lot of work to get done before then.
