Wedding Day

We had a small wedding with close family and a couple of friends. This, for me, was a second marriage so couldn't take place in church. We had a civil ceremony in Penrith Registry Office followed by a blessing at St. Cuthbert's Church, Great Salkeld by our friend The Revd. Albert de Gruyther.We had our reception at the Clifton Hill Hotel then everyone came to our house for the cutting of the cake and drinks.

That evening we left for our honeymoon aboard "Buttercup" a 2-berth narrow boat. My first canal holiday.
