Wednesday 11 April 2012: End of the rain
This afternoon has been hugely wet - hail at lunchtime, followed by alternating heavy cloud, rain and evening some lightning. Looking out of the window at work the dark skies gave an almost ethereal glow to the landscape. Or rather, the car park I could see!
I took a couple of shots of reflections in the huge puddles that appear in the car park, though I wasn't hugely pleased with them. Nature did her thing and as I was driving home the sky started glowing a deep red. A diversion through the back roads delivered this stunning red sky for the last couple of minutes before the sun finally set.
