Thursday 12 April 2012: Thunder on the Lake
Today I finally used a Groupon voucher I bought last summer and went wakeboarding over in Datchet. Was great fun and I was just about getting there when the thunder started meaning they had to stop because they use a metal cable system that would be dangerous with lightning. Might go and again sometime, quite tiring on the arms though.
I took this photo as I was leaving, you can see the nasty thunder clouds.
