Friday 30 March 2012: Pandemonium
These parrots were everywhere!
They were very noisy and in big flocks - or is it called a pandemonium!? That certainly feels like the more apt word!
In fact we were woken up by them well before our alarm went off that morning.
This is in Busselton - a nice town famous for it's 1841 metre long jetty. Yes I got some fairly good shots of the jetty - especially the previous evening at sunset - but chose this shot as the birds were quite amusing.
This is right by the jetty. We were about to go into a cafe for breakfast and were distracted by the parrots that were playing on a flagpole (sans flag) and actually swinging and twirling on the rope.
We went over to watch them as it was entertaining.
We then went on to have a very nice breakfast.
