I spent a fair few hours learning how to use Cinema 4D, so I could make my cocktail bottles look all real and cool. By the end of the evening they looked reasonably cool. 2 days later they look kick ass.
It's been good teaching myself how to use it though, it'll definitely be useful in the future!
