Friday 13 April 2012: Carefully Taught

Lucky children, coming here under Laurie's care. Lucky parents, having such a trusted and loving atmosphere for their children. Lucky me to watch her work her magic and to watch these little ones learn and grow into the people they are becoming. (Plus I have blip material at the ready almost every day!) Summers are wonderful because we get to hang out in the backyard all day and play. (This is not to minimize Laurie's role, though - she works her arse off.)

Laurie provides a calm, nurturing atmosphere that encourages the children to explore the world around them and allows them to express themselves in their own way, to try new things in their own time.

Would that we could all have such loving care as children - what a peaceful, well adjusted world this would be.
