Saturday 14 April 2012: Drystane dyking course
This weekend I'm taking part in another drystane dyking course. I'm going along for some more practice and to learn a bit more. In December I joined the committee of the local branch of the Dry Stone Walling Association and so I've managed to get a free place by "helping out" but the tutor Bruce is doing a fine job. Here's the group working away at a gap in a dyke at Easter Kinleith Farm in the Pentlands.
Planted onions in the garden this evening. I think it's a bit late, but there was frost a couple of nights ago and so I didn't want to plant them too soon. Hope they grow ok :o)
