crash

From that wipe out I took a couple of days ago. Instagram makes it look a lot worse than it is. Got a better scrape on my elbow and banged up my hip pretty good too.

Not sure exactly what caused the crash, clear trail, nothing out of the ordinary. My best guess is I had a slow leak in my front tube and when I leaned into this particular corner (at speed of course) the front tire folded over and broke loose sending the bike one way and me the other.

To add insult to injury, I also picked up a nasty pinch flat during (or possible just before) the crash. That tube now has five patches on it. Might be time to retire it... Ooooh bad pun.
