Friday 20 April 2012: Last Gasp

Autumn is a variable thing here and at one part of Wanaka you can have bright green trees but a small distance away the colours are nearly gone. This makes photography lots of fun as nothing is predictable and everything is different. I was trying to get The Boss to throw some sticks...Stick..Get The Stick...
but he seemed more interested in sticks that were still attached. This is late afternoon on the west side of the lake. That's ME.. in the middle sort of caught mid stride, so to speak.
Oh, and that's Ruby Island in the background.
