Thursday 19 April 2012: Dressage
As the title suggests, I had a dressage competition tonight. I could pretend to be really proud of myself for coming 6th. That is until I mention that there were only 7 competitors in my class!
Nevertheless, this was my first ever dressage competition, Risky is still lame (even if he wasn't his owners would still get arsy at me if I tried to take him there) so I borrowed Izzypony and off we went. Izzy is a pro with the right rider on her back, but that wasn't me today. In my defense the horses were being really noisy and shouting during my test so I didn't hear the caller at one point and got a little lost.
Lesson learnt today: Learn your dressage test BEFORE you go into the arena.
