Tuesday 24 April 2012: Love
Today I gave a speech at my friend's lecture in University. I talked about how my perspectives were changed while studying abroad and also culture shock. One of the reasons why I decided to go to Australia to study English was to change my perspectives on my life. Before I went to Australia, I had never done anything extremely independent or challenging in an unfamiliar setting. Even though I experienced some culture shocks, I tried to accept and appreciate the differences. I realized that we call those feelings culture shocks, but it is just there are different ways to live in this world, and neither is better than the other. It is just different.
Today was a great opportunity to show my appreciation and love to Australia.
