Along the road

Early morning we met a whole community, of Yesaya Moyo, to look at and agree procedures and practices involved in the running of a preschool. The two chiefs were there as were the school committee and the development committee along with carers and parents.
Mary is a natural on such occasions and took us all through the process with her amazing dramatic skills. Everyone got a chance to tell us their plans and there appears to be an excellent acceptance of what we have to offer in support of their efforts.
As we crossed the hills to our next school and stopped for a little food, these fore primary school girls stopped to say hello. we all shared the little bit we had. Of course Mary's handbag can always produce something and this time it was four lollies, like all their birthdays come together.
The pic shows Aoife, Mary, Casca, Nicole and Kate, having a ball.
1pm, new school, modified content from Mary but an appropriate and joyfully accepted message.
As we were just about to leave another women's group arrived looking for pumps. I had to help, so into the jeep, more of the awful track (by now), ikm over hills and valleys to locate and mark the first of 8 new wells.
The walk back was mainly up hill and the drive home was body shattering, not for the fainthearted or bony assed.
Mary begins training of care givers on Friday next with twelve from six new preschools and nine in total on this trip, all supporting communities who have made a start themselves. These women are capable of doing it themselves with just a little help
