Sunday 29 April 2012: California poppy
The tomatoes are in! Decided to just go for it, cold nights and all. The driving force was the bucket of fish parts that we got as soil amendments--too much icky stuff for the freezer, so in the ground with it all. A nice meaty fish skeleton, two aspirin!, egg shells, bone meal and a handful of fertilizer per plant. I swear they have grown a couple inches already.
