Monday 30 April 2012: Tulipa humilis

Apparently the roe deer missed to chew this one - it flowered for the first time this year today.

We had a wonderful, long day in the garden, got loads of stuff done: planted some perennials, moved the raspberries and gooseberries and expanded our veggie garden a bit. The big single male frog is back in our mini pond again - but it seems he is alone this year too. Weather was sunny with temperatures around 14-15°C and very little wind.

One Year Ago: Cheery tulips
