Wednesday 2 May 2012: Climbing trees
Went for blip run up the Matakitaki tonight. Light was fading fast and really had no idea what we were driving up to take a picture of but had to be something surely? Drove past a colleagues place and saw their pigs so turned round and went back to barrel off a few shots(!) of the big beasties (got some good shots of some very big snouts!) She then sent her son J out to try and round up the piglets (you can see this shot on TeeJay's blip) and we got lots more shots, eventually of them too. But after all that I blip J in a tree - why/ because he is such a cutie, the tree looks very old, dead and gnarled and I love the blurred colour behind of the trees. So A tree it is!
